About FlexScenes
FlexScenes is a Bangalore-based platform for finding fitness events and booking a place in them — runs, rides, hikes, training sessions, and the smaller community meetups that never make it onto a listing site.
Why it exists
Most of what happens in Bangalore’s fitness scene is invisible unless you are already inside it. Sessions get announced in WhatsApp groups, entries open through a form someone forwards you, and a race you would have loved sells out before you hear its name. If you are new to the city, or new to running, you find out about the good stuff afterwards.
We put all of it in one place, with the details that actually decide whether you turn up: where it starts, what it costs, how far it goes, and what you need to bring.

How the guides are written
Every guide is written by someone who was at the event, and it has to pass one test before it goes up: does this help you find, choose, or prepare for something you might actually do? Route details, what a start line is like, how registration works, what to carry — yes. Company news and opinion pieces — no.
That includes the unflattering parts. Our guides tell you when we overspent on shoes we did not need, and when we did something at a race you should not copy. A write-up that only says nice things is not much use when you are deciding whether to spend a Sunday morning and an entry fee on it.
How we make money
Three ways, and we would rather you knew all of them.
A commission on paid tickets. When you buy a ticket through the site, we keep a small percentage. Free events cost organisers nothing.
Advertising and sponsored placements. Some pages carry ads, and some carry a sponsored card. Sponsored placements are always labelled as such and are never mixed into the event listings as if they were ordinary results. If you want one, here is what they cost.
Occasional brand collaborations in guides. If a brand paid for or provided the kit in a guide, that guide says so, in the guide, near the top. What we then write about the kit is ours, including the criticism.
Where we operate
Bangalore only, for now. We would rather cover one city properly than five badly — a listing page with nothing behind it helps nobody. Other cities will open when there is enough happening on them to be worth your time.
